it was real cool cos:
- u get to stand (or rather dance) on the float. u're like above the sea of pple so u get a clear view of other performances
- it's fun waving at kids cos they get so excited when they realised u saw them too (oo, n i actually saw 2 kids shaking their booties to the music, cuteness!)
- u feel like a superstar cos no matter where u go pple r taking pics of u/waving at u
- u get 300 bucks
but it was uncool cos:
- u get the attention for the wrong reasons (being the smallness of the tube top n the shortness of the pants)
- u get the attention esp frm dirty old ah peks/banglas whom took millions of pics, eeeKs
- u have to constantly suck in ur stomach n look pretty cos god-knows-who r taking pictures of u
- u get comments like 'eh, chingay ends at 1030 issit? wait for u here at 1030 k?' or 'eh, look here lei, wave to us lei' *rolls eyes*
- u appear on teevee first time in ur whole freaking life. doesnt sound bad at all yea? but here's the catch: LOOKING FAT!!
- pple thinks ure a slut if they dunno u
- ur poor boy have to run all over town n city to find u n send u home
looks like there's uncoolness abt chingay, perhaps that's y korin said my smile was plastered/fake? but still it was a great experience (:
o n something lucky happened again. i was whining to winnie that i forgot to bring socks n im bound to get blisters if i nv wear them. then she dug out a pair of socks frm her bag cos she bought it for me from taiwan n was intending to give them to me. she initially forgotten to so all thanks to my whining. whining isnt so bad afterall yea?
n it was great that i got to catch up with winnie dear after her 8days trip at taiwan. chatted with hazel quite abit also abt our danceworks n errrrmmm.... *ahem ahem* other stuff (:
oo n we saw erwin during chingay. my god!!!! it sure felt funny to 'club' in front of him! haahaaa!! but it was also nice to see a familiar face (:
loves winnie's dior specs even though i look like a nerd in it. tot i look nice in the shades though cos it covers almost 1/2 of my FAT face (:
